Congrats to your friend! You need to go kill one like that now!
No luck yesterday afternoon. Rain broke so I snuck out. I'll be out this afternoon as well.

I wish I had killed it haha. Didn’t see anything mature last night, just does and a good 3.5 year old 130s.

Haha, not on this property. Multiple booners taken within a mile, and a couple on this exact piece. Hoping I can add one.

On my way between plants, I nearly hit a 140"+ buck. I've been wanting a new car but don't want to get one that way.

Was wanting to get out tonight but my drop away rest is jacked! Headed to the archery shop after work. Supposed to get hot here tomorrow so that will probably keep me out of the woods. Probably be back at her on Friday.

I’m gonna head out tomorrow afternoon. Cold windy and rainy here now. Gonna get a frost tonight and a high in the mid 40s tomorrow. Can’t get out many for many am hunts w the kids schedules during the week. All pics nocturnal anyway. Hope that changes soon.

In the stand now, just watched a mid 120s chase a doe around. This weather has the deer on their feet. Hopefully the big boys will be up by the weekend

well boys, pulled my camera after 2 weeks. nothing much to talk about. but if someone wants some coon pelts let me know. dam things on almost every video.
I got one spindly 8ptr and a 6 ptr rub their heads/horn on the trees near my stand. I think I might try some scrapes near there next week just to see if something stirs up.
the other bummer is I went to crab my sd card from another camera and put in a case in my pocket. I then went to pull the new card out and dog gone it if it isn't the exact same looking card, same color, brand and gb. so of course the one I thought i took home is the unused card. darn it all.
Gonna set up a stand and camera on the other end of the property.
I have another piece of property near by and gonna do some scouting for some sign and try there this fall.

    good luck to every one.

I just don't seem to have it together this year. I'm hoping something big will come by during the rut. plenty of does on camera. the farmer left me up some corn under one stand so that'll keep there in the next few months.
I still gotta shoot, and get my stuff washed and hung outside. been working OT hours like crazy for Christmas, etc. So everything else is on the back burner.

It'll work out in da woods.. sometimes these type of years produce best!
My cams have been dead. Some decent bucks, but all nocturnal. Temp dropped significantly over night. High in the 40s today. I am gonna check some cams this afternoon and possibly hunt. i know the deer are around, but I do not want to stink my places up. I am trying to be patient till things start to turn on.

interesting thing is that does out during the late morning. 11am-noon. and then again later in the afternoon. So where the does are, the bucks will be.
