I did not make it out this morning due to the thunderstorms and then tonight I have my birthday supper with my parents since my birthday was on the 4th. I will be out in the morning since no storms are to be hitting my area. I am ready to get some tree therapy.

    Happy birthday dawg.
I’m out now. Just had a doe and skip skirt me. Swirling wind. Very warm humid and foggy

well boys, finally made it out to put up cameras and cut some trails. bummer is I was clearing a path on one side of a ravine and my brush bar on a weedwacker and it caught a vine and spin upside down on me. thought all was good, till I walked 200 yrds to the other side of the ravine and tried to use it and the damn thing would'nt work. darn it all anyway! all that crap lugged out with me and now gotta cut a path manually. probably won't get till late Oct.
Congrats on the buck! glad to see where starting to connect. Now we need some big boys down.
I did see some new rubs near my stand where my deer from last year was workin a line. One of the rubs is on a 7'-8" tree that he bent right over. Hopefully I'll catch him on film this week.

Just got in the stand. Thunderstorms all day but finally got a break it the weather. Sun is out and temperatures are cooler. Wish me luck this evening.

Two pits and a jack russell. I would have thought seriously about it with a rifle.

Awesome Western, congrats. Nice pile of meat there. Just had some marinaded bacon wrapped venison from my buck for dinner tonight. Always a great feeling seeing a bunch of notifications and opening up to this

Very happy. Nice mature dry doe. No milk in her. No little ones. Came in behind me over my right shoulder uphill from me. I didn’t see her until she was 20 yards. She cut down on front of me. I shot her at 8 yards. She went 30-40 yards and stopped and did the wobbly dance and tipped over. She ran right at the truck. If you look at this pic you can see my truck in the background in the dirt road.

congrats! Western. another 50 pts, thank you very much. starting to look good.

so after all that path cutting (300 yrds) the farmer came by and harvested the corn. dang. But he did leave my usual request of food plot sized standing corn under my stand.

Maybe I'll get out tomorrow morning to put out another camera and clear a fallen tree blocking a deer path. Still won't be out to hunt for while. Still too nice out here, in the 80s.

good luck to everyone else out there.
