Hey guys - Shot a doe tonight. Going to try and edit the footage of it over the next day or two and will likely use the video to submit on the score card. If I can't get it together quickly I've got the pics as well. 50 more points on the board, and now I'm 100% focused on shooting bucks from here on out.

Well done boys. This morning was well below freezing. I'm in a stand. Wind is much calmer then the other night. Let's see what happens.

Nice does and great to see. Should be getting out to some state land again Wednesday. Not tons of chance to get out for a few days again then. Getting cooler so should be moving more after today's warm one.

For anyone curious, I've got a short video showing an update from my early season, plus footage of my doe on the following video link.

    very nice... congrats!
Well.... kindof an embarrassing story for me... girls had no school yesterday, so I took a half day and decided to sneak out for the last 2 hours of light last pm.. I took a few practice shots in driveway. I get over to NY (about half hour ride from home) and get all the way in to my stand and realize I never put my quiver back on my bow after practicing... UGH..:bigcry: by the time I got back home it was already 5;15... so I wouldn't have gotten more than 45 min in ... so I just chalked it up as a fail. Maybe there was a reason I shouldn't have hunted last pm... who knows.
hope to get out one more time in NY this week before MA opens next Monday. I'm gonna check a couple cams at lunch tomorrow and finalize where I'm going after Sat pull

Grabbed cards. Usual ones were quiet. I had set one to plot watch to get couple hours of every 5 min evening into night. Real awesome to see headlights or a spot light all but one night of last week and a half. Guess maybe the jokes on them since there hasn't been anything on cam there even anyway. I had put my two cheap cams on a different spot without tons of confidence. Came up with this guy.

Few night pics and decent doe travel there too. Hoping to keep away from there and get some time when the bucks start chasing and see if he doesn't come though maybe early morning. [IMG]
Tomorrow should be sitting some and get cam moved. Then might be next week

Don't feel bad, last year I sat in my stand for almost an hour...realized I had no arrow nocked. I also had no quiver...lol.

Almost hit a 165" monster tonight, we have a cold front coming in tonight and I think it has them on their feet.

Saw 5 deer in my yard early this morning in my yard, 3am. Two bucks. One was a nice young 8pt and he was bird dogging a doe.

Saw another 130" last night, looked mature just too far away. That's the joy of hunting a big field
