Took the girls out to shoot blackpowders. Both dead on. Now we need a couple deer to cooperate next weekend

OH MAN, got a scare last night at work for me. I smashed my hand in between two solid steel doors and my fingers went numb and swelled up in seconds. I thought I broke my hand so trip to the ER. The tests came back negative and doc put me on a 24 hour restriction of using my right hand. So I get an extra day added to my weekend and will be seeing my doctor today for a follow up. I can at least make a soft fist today where yesterday I could not do that due to the swelling. No pain today just really tight and I am sure that is from the swelling. Just glad it is all ok otherwise that would of put a big damper on my hunting since that is my drawing hand. LOL

 

Hope it’s just some swelling Dawg and goes away soon. I’ve had similar happen and hate that feeling when don’t know what the outcome looks like.

Flopped my cards the other day and here are two bucks on cam. The second buck will be something special if he lives on for a few years.

The thing about those two buck pictures are that the trail cams are on the same tree with one pointing into the pasture where the buck is looking down into the creek bottom and the field where the palmated young buck is.

 

My tree stand that I shot the big buck out of is also 10 yards from that tree to the south.

 

Ok team. That's it. No one is allowed doors for the rest of the season. Far too dangerous. We have a competition to win lol. Glad your better Dawg.

 

No luck this am with the girls. Bumped one on way out and she couldn’t get set up on sticks on time when she stopped. Headed buck out later.

Going to give it another try in the morning. I should be off early tonight, maybe midnight or little earlier. I'm off Friday, Saturday and Sunday next week for my class reunion. Should be able to get away for some time in the woods too.
