Boys Africa was alot of fun. The hunting was not at all like I had expected. I was hiking so high in the mountains to take these animals. My kudu was taken at almost 7000ft above sea level. Forced to make long rifle shots as these animals are so spooky and incredibly strong senses. And seeing it first hand has given me a total different view of hunting in Africa. It is something I will do again for sure. Another note is that most people think these animals are simply trophies and a complete waste. Could not be further from the truth. Everyone one of these animals were packed out by my trackers and Skinner's. Every single lb of meat is not only used in camp but has a huge value and sold in the meat market. So the guide makes sure that everything is collected. Cause it's another revenue stream. As far as I'm concerned this makes more sense then the north american meat trade. At least these animals lived a free life and at least there are numerous animals being eaten so it is sustainable. It not just cows and chickens on every farm. I was amazed that game meat was equal to if not more expensive on the meat market then pork or beef.

Awesome looking time Chago. Congrats on some great hunts there. That’s something I’d love to do someday but probably won’t ever get to. I always love seeing the firsthand stories and reality of places and hunts like that after seeing all the negative bs propaganda about it all. Had a few acquaintances that did some of that and the backlash from ignorant people was nuts. Should have you good and ready for another season here

Wow chago! Nice work! That’s looks amazing. Gonna have a helluva taxidermy bill there! You’ll need a new addition for it. Must have been an amazing experience. Congrats and great pics!

Exactly. Africa is very cheap. It's the inability to say no to taxidermy which is expensive. Lol

Well boys 1 week left for vacation. The cameras will go up, I'm gonna move one of my stands & trim sum shooting lanes this week, & start shooting.
Looks promising if every1 connects with what they have on camera.

Well guys, he doesn’t count for the contest, but I just got back from a goat hunt in Wyoming. Had a blast out there, can’t wait to go back at some point. Will have the full hunt on the show in two weeks, but wanted to share a pic for now.

I’ll be doing my final deer lease work and card pull in the next week or so, will have more updates then!
