I'm gonna go check a few cams over the weekend with my daughter in MA & NY. NY cam has been out for over a month. I also am going to hike up above where that big boy is and put my cell cam on a run I found during turkey season.

Nothing here until 10/1 NY opener. MA is 2 weeks after.
I do get to take the girls on the MA youth hunt the last Saturday of Sept.

Bootlegger, that is a beautiful deer. I wouldn't think twice. I hope he sticks around and you arrow him!

I drew a doe tag this year for MA. So, between MA & NY, I can shoot a couple of does if the opportunity arises this season.

Boys I leave for Africa in 12 days. I am pumped. Can't wait. My first African hunt and truly my first full service guided hunt.

And I drew a elk tag today as well for up here in Canada. But didnt get a moose tag.

And my wife is due in December. So 2018 is going to be a big year for me! But because of that I have decided to opt out of my annual Texas deer hunt. But it's ok, I'll just have to get another booner out of my backyard lol.

Well, I am a bit PISSED but I can not say squat since I don't own my 2nd hunting spot that I am pulling my stands out of now. I am down to one spot but it is the spot that I took my buck from last year. My second spot that had all the turkeys is now turned part of the field into a mud pit for big vehicles. I just don't understand it. I am searching for another spot and hope to find another one soon. We will see! So far no shooter bucks on camera but they will come!

This pictures shows a very small fawn and this late is shocking. Then after swapping trail camera cards I did not see the fishing pole in the middle until I loaded on my computer then I noticed it. Will see if any good when I go back to flop trail cam cards next time.

Dawg bummer about the prop. Sucks losing spots that you’ve hunted for years. I’m sure you’ll find something to replace it.

Hunt Update here... I’m ready to go on Saturday... pretty sure there are at least 4 cameras stewing out there!! So I might have a little horn porn for you guys!

Wake what are those cameras with the antennas? What brand ? Are they the cell phone models?

I have been eyeballing this style of camera for some time now. Any reviews is much appreciated.

All but two of them are Coverts. The 2 that are not are Spartans

Chago I really like the Coverts for the most part they’ve always been reliable. Get all the pictures loaded in app and you can manage from there. The solar charger with rechargeable AA is a nice option too. I would definitely recommend them. I actually just bought another one last week should be here Monday.

Does the camera need a sim card? Like a cell phone?

I have had a few different brands and I still lean towards coverts over others. I really enjoy them too but the ones I had lasted for 15 years and finally crapped out. So I bought a few Scoutguards and Bushnells and I will say that I like the Coverts better! I have one USA cam and after the first two that I had did not work normally I finally got one that works but I will never buy one of those again.
