Here's how it works for me and I'm 5'8" 180. I have a built lower body and usually wear medium clothes. I had to get my fanatic bibs in large because medium was too tight. Knowing how they fit, I bought the fanatic lite bibs in large, but they're really baggy and there was noway I could make it work. If you're anywhere around my size, I'd highly recommend trying them on or be prepared to exchange for different size.
I think the Fanatic Lite are cut a little looser than my Stratus stuff. At Cabela's I tried on an XL and it was really baggy. I put on a large and it fit well. And I left my jeans on while I was trying them on. I never wear a large. I am 5'10" 210#.
Since I can only buy one right now I am just having a hard time deciding. If the bibs had windstopper it would be an easy decision. I am leaning towards the bibs right now though.
This helps... I'm 5'8" and 165. So if large is to big for you at 180 then I'm sure they will be to big for me as well. The fanatic lite coat fits me perfect in a large but sounds like I will need a medium in the bibs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I keep going back to thinking the windproofing is pretty important to me. I wish those bibs had windproofing like the stratus, I like the outer material of them better than my stratus jacket.
