Which should I get? Im thinking Sitka just because its the most expensive, but, I haven't gotten confirmed for this website yet, but I hear we get 40% off MSRP. We as in LEO/Military/maybe other public service people at www.leoadventures.com Same deal as usstandardissue.com I like UA because I like their workout clothes, scentlok because of their supposed technology and the clothing is around $100-$200 per item which isn't too bad. But I also like Sitka because I hear they are comfortable, but I also love the optifade pattern.
It is correct 40 percent off. I'm a confirmed member. I wouldn't bother with scentlok. I like under armour but with your new discounts Sitka is the same price roughly. And superior. Sent from iPhone
Military get half off of scent blockers website. You can save a ton of money. 200 coats for 100. great deals
Scent-Lok is tried and true. The stuff works. If you do go with UA be aware their stuff is cut small. I normally wear XL shirts and coats. With UA I had to go with XXL but it is definite quality.
I just applied for membership (teacher). Still waiting on the confirmation, but when I do, I'm going to be ordering some. Sitka has what I'm looking for in a fitted style rather than extra bulk that hunting clothes traditionally have.
You won't be disappointed. I actually wear Sitka in solid colors in day to day. I love it so much. Sent from iPhone
I just got my UA early season ridge reaper and love them. But with the discount you get on the Sitka, I think its a no brainer there.
Hmm glad I made this thread. One point was for me, and it looks like ill buy sitka, but another by posting that website was for you all. They have other items too, brooks shoes are 30% and normally those shoes are expensive, well still are even with 30%.
Merino wool is the way I'd go. Kuiu or First Lite make good merino base layers. Rudy Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2
if ppl would stop buying 400.00 suits they wouldnt be priced that high? but like the saying goes theres a sucker born everyday! i kill alot of deer but i do it in my 9 dollar walmart shirt and my 20 dollor walmart pants lol
Seeing the same topics on AT. You do get what you pay for, and when you pay for more, well you get more comfort.
As long as there are 9 dollar shirts, and 20 dollar pants, and they work for you, why does it matter if there are $400 suits? Should there not me $50K + sports cars just because a $1000 beater will get you from point A to B? I firmly believe you get what you pay for in much of the hunting clothing industry (scent gimmick material aside), and I've hunted in it all (including the cheap bargain bin camo). In the end, you just need to be happy with what you have and it looks like you are.
