I just wanted to pass along a note about the customer service at Sitka. For anyone that is on the fence about putting that kind of money down on clothing, I hope this may be of use.

Two years ago, I purchased the Fanatic Jacket and Stratus pants. The jacket, in my opinion, is the absolute best designed whitetail treestand hunters jacket on the market. The pockets are so well thought out and the fit is outstanding. The pants, well, they're just pants really, but the build and windstopper membrane is a must for me. I loved them.

Anyway, after two season, I got to looking at this set and was a bit let down. The fabric was pilling like crazy and it began making a bit of noise when rubbed against a tree. For the money, this was a disappointment. So, I called Sitka to see what the deal was and if they were aware. The gentleman on the phone asked that I take close ups of the fabric and send them to him. A day later, I get an email back, several actually. One stating that it was a warranty issue and they were replacing it free of charge with the 2015 updated models. I also received an email with a shipping label to send it back. Talk about amazing.

I did have to wait almost a month and a half for the new stuff to get here, but a quick look and you can tell its well worth the wait. The new fabrics on both the jacket and pants are an enormous improvement.

I can't say enough about Sitka. They stand behind their products and go above and beyond to take of their customers. Yes, its quite the investment to spend almost $800 bones on a jacket, pants and a few accessories items. But the quality and the customer service can't be measured. Hats off to the fine folks at Sitka.

Thanks for sharing. I've always admired the Sitka stuff but other than a couple pair of really nice gloves, I've never pulled the trigger. It is awesome to hear they have this kind of customer support. I may actually finally take the plunge.

the fleece was forming little "balls" all over. I know you've seen fleece blankets do it or anything with a high nap. It was going it pretty bad and beginning to snag on the bark of trees, making almost a velcro like noise. I doubt the noise was audible from more than 5 feet away, but again, for the price of this stuff, it should not make a sound. d

Glad they took care of you. I have yet to hear any negative comments on their customer service.

I am still waiting on my Fanatic jacket, Fanatic bibs, Fanatic beanie and Equinox pants to come. It's been a moth and a half now. The other stuff I ordered (Stratus jacket, Status pant, Stratus beanie, Core Heavyweight top and bottom and Fanatic gloves) came quickly. I am hearing I may not get the Fanatic gear and Equinox pant order until October. Not a big deal on the Fanatic stuff but a bummer on the Equinox pants.

Guys, you're going to love the new Fanatic Jacket. Its definitely a huge improvement from a material standpoint. The only draw back I can foresee with it is that it will most likely be a burr magnet being a berber type fleece.

They also changed the material on the Stratus line. I just got their new pants and its softer and much quieter. They ditched the pull over things for your boots, but everything else appears in line.

Oh and the new pattern is much better as well.

Overall, can't wait to get into the woods with these.

Sitka CS is top shelf. I had an issue with a pack and they went above and beyond what was needed to resolve it. I really am a gear nut and I owned clothing from almost all of the top end manufacturers and Sitka is over all the best when it comes to having a complete line for both whitetail and mountain hunting.
