I thought you guys might be interested in this YouTube. They were putting sites on recurve bows a long time ago. The die hard traditional folks won't like it but it definitely helps with accuracy.

No big deal. I had full time shop/lanes from 1964 thru 1982 & so many a recueve with them. Hunting & target. Saw many an indoor perfect 300 shot with them & fingers. Even a few myself. Mid 70s the chek-it was the top target site. Front of that 1st shop 60s.

I think a lot of the traditional shooters actually enjoy the challenge of instinctive shooting.

I agree that traditional is best when shot instinctively. I do it for a pure simplicity aspect. I know its not as accurate and harder, but all part of the fun for me. Its a art form and not every shot is a masterpiece, but sure is fun trying to achieve a perfect shot. My favorite part is when you do everything right and that arrow comes off the shelve with perfect arrow flight. I dont even care if im hitting the bullseye at that point, but usually is.

Also it doesn't bother me what others put on there bow, sights, rest, stabilizers, its all just different styles.

I agree if someone can make better shots by adding something to their bow it is a win win.

Would it have any effect on your hunting? I don't see putting a site on a trad bow a bad if it helps the hunter recover the deer after it hit with a more accurate shot.

Putting a site on a traditional bow takes the tradition out of traditional. JMO

Putting an arrow in the zone is all that matters.
