Sit when I'm on the ground and if I'm in good cover I will stand every once in awhile to stretch the legs. In the stand I almost always stand. Find it easier to look around and grab the bow and draw in all directions where when I am sitting I am limited.
I sit unless my legs need a stretch. I have shot deer both sitting and standing so it depends on the situation.
When it's time to shoot I prefer to get into a standing position. It's very important when hunting from a treestand though to make sure you bend at the waist. A lot of guys think they naturally shoot high from treestands, however if they do not bend at the waist the relationship from their bow hand to their anchor changes which usually results in a higher shot. The same could be true if you were sitting though and not maintaining that relationship as well.
I sit most of the time. I'll stand up to stretch my legs or if I see something heading my way. I definitely prefer to stand up for a shot, but I guess I'd take a sitting shot if I don't have the chance to stand up.
For me it depends on the stand I'm in, some I can see better standing and some sitting but I like to tryin stand at that last half hour.
Depends on the situation and the cover obstructing the line of sight between you and the Buck, could end up being a new yoga position at the moment of truth but mostly kneeling down.
