It has probably been asked but I can't find anything.
I'm looking for feedback from the hunters using a single pin with power scopes.

Are the scopes used for target shooting only, or are you guys using lenses for hunting?
    What are the benefits.

I'm ready to spend some money and I'm trying to check all options.

Im looking at the Fast Eddie and the HHA Kingpin.
My eyes are getting a little weaker, so I was thinking a lens might help tremendously.
Concerns are what happens on a rainy day, cold day, sunny day. Will a lens help but give opportunities for failure in certain conditions?

It looks like a lens is not the way to go for hunting. Too many variables for the weather conditions affecting the lens

I have been thinking about getting a lens for practice. but I think yoiu hit the nail on the head. weather might screw you up in a hunting situation . I have seen alot of those single pin sights coming out that is a lens with i fiber optic dot in the center, and i thought the same thing about the rain.
