I hope everyone will click on the link below then sign up to join people like myself and Mike Huckabee in this cause. A single (sales) tax will not only help those with low income's and new or struggling business owners, but also make the United States a destination for many businesses around the world. Bringing millions of jobs here from overseas due to no business tax's. Those that could afford to pay higher taxes (like wealthy business owners, actors, etc.) would do so in the form of all the toys they buy. It is estimated this would also increase tax revenues by over one Trillion dollars. The single tax would induce a very strong economy that would stay strong. Washington would hate this of course because they would lose out on the approximate 1.5 Billion dollars funneled their way by big business each year for changes in tax structure.

Personally I'd be open to the idea, but I'd be curious as to what that rate would be before I went all in. Also this would have to be the ONLY tax, all income tax must be eliminated. The main reason I think the idea has merit is then you can choose to pay as much or as little tax as you want - just control your own spending.

I think it would be about 33%. HOWEVER, before you freak out you have to realize that is not so bad compared to what you pay now. For the average guy this would be a much better deal. People usually do not realize just how much they pay in taxes because it is spread out in so many ways. I am sure the government likes it this way so people do not realize how badly we are being taxed.

Remember this would be a SINGLE tax... NO income tax. NO property tax. NO capital gains tax. NO inheritance tax, etc, etc, etc. & one of my favorites, NO IRS. :)
