My Parker Ultrlite 30 is the first Single Cam I have had. It is a nice bow. It's not fast, it's not fancy, but it shoots well, draws smooth. With that said, it does seem to me to have a lot of recoil after the shot. Like hard hitting feeling. It also seems really loud to me. My last 3 bows were Bowtech Ally 08, Bowtech destroyer 350, and Elite Energy 32. None of those bows seemed to have noise or recoil. Is it the cam difference or just a difference in a high end bow vs a lower end bow?

It's certainly not the cam system. Some of the quietest and most vibration free bows I've ever owned have been single cams.

A lot of folks ask what the differences between your high end your low end bows are. Having shot both I think you now know. :tu:

A stabilizer and some limb dampeners should help you a bit. I have bowjax on my parker

I shot Parker for a few years and really liked the bow. I also have 2 fishing bows that are Parker. Other than the the rubber grip, no complaints about the hunting bow. It's been passed down to a young cousin and is still killing deer.

Might check that it is still in specs with ATA and brace height, cam rotation.

Justin once again I think you hit the nail on the head. The specs are on point, I have bow jax on the limbs, I have a stabilizer. None of that seemed to make a difference.

If none of those things helped, check all of your specs.

all the specs check out, brace and ATA are within 1/8". bow shoots bullets thru paper, and fixed broadheads (muzzy 3 blde) perfectly out to 30 yards with fp.

A heavier arrow would quiet it down.

Yeh it would. My issue is my short draw length. my arrows would have to be like 28-29" to get some weight. They are at 27" and I have a little over 1' over hang. I shoot 70# and I had some Beman 340 but they were too stiff at 27". but they were 400 gr.

I shoot pretty short arrows too. 27 inch carbon to carbon. ~470 grain axis 340 spine

My arrows are 28", I use gold tips and added a 20 gram weight to each, with a 100 grain head, they weigh 401. Can you add a little weight to the 340's? that would lower your spine also.

Why would you quit shooting the Destroyer? I just put new limbs on mine a few months ago, better than new.

Me and a 6" brace just never saw eye to eye..I did kill a few with it, and it was a very well made bow, but I could never really shoot it that good. The best shooting bow I ever owned and regret selling was an 08 Allegiance. next was the E 32 Energy. sold that and bought a recurve, talk about a challenge! Anyway, the D 350 is one powerful bow.

My reezen seems to be pretty quiet with only the stock dampers.

I had to adjust my LD pro v cord and it made a difference in vibration and noise

I shoot a parker ultra 30+ plus as well. Im a 28.5 draw at about 67 lbs. My arrows are ~450. I had a squirrel jump the string on my at 20 yards and I totally missed it. Granted it was really quiet with no breeze.

Don't know how to quit mine down either. The bow shoots great though.
