Can anyone tell me the benefits of shooting a beveled broadhead and are there any advantages when shooting a single bevel head over a double or vise versa. What are some good single or double beveled heads on the market the are tough and fly accurate. Thanks in advance
All broadheads have a bevel. A bevel is simply the sharpened edge of the broadhead. A single bevel is only sharpened on one side of the blade while a double bevel is sharpened on both sides of the blade. A single bevel will rotate more as it goes through an animal, leaving a bigger wound channel. This allows it to perform better and cause more damage when impacting dense bone. Against soft tissue like organs, meat, and skin, single bevel or double bevel offer little difference. How well a broadhead will fly will be determined by how well your bow is tuned for good arrow flight. Broadhead style does not matter if the bow is properly tuned.
That's what I figured. Try Aleve. Works awesome for dental pain; works up to and through root canals.
