    Absolutely! With rifle or shotgun...of course the shot must be high percentage. I've never shot with a gun where the deer went more than a few paces. With the bow the answer is no.

    I think circumstances would determine it for me. I'd say it's almost countless scenarios and basically without being in each one or having it well described its not simple or clear cut yes or no

    I don't want to answer for jimmie but for me it means a couple of things. If I have good footing, if I can get the gun reasonably on the animal, is the path to the animal clear or is it an obstructed view, how far is the animal? 99.9% when we miss an animal with any weapon we know before the trigger is pulled if we are going to miss based on the variables I outlined above.
