Just now seeing this. Hope your girl heals completely. So very scary - I freak out about snakes and we don't have anything to really worry about here. Did she have a recheck at the vet?
Update: Pp: I don't think my wife got her to the vet this week for a recheck, I was out of town. Dog seems fine. Appears the scab is gone, I suspect she licked/nibbled at it and the flesh is pink and healthy. She finished her course of antibiotics so I'll probably just smear some tribiotic ointment on the former scab site just for good measure. So i assume the dog drama is over...happily ever after... Though the wife texted me she's taking my daughter to the ER...
