Was looking around for some bow hunting clothing. You know, the kind that doesnt swish and swash and ruffle....
I bought the tundra system at bass bro for colder weather, its great for late fall and winter.... but just cant find much for early season and temps from 55-65 without it being overly loud.....the problem i get is how loud clothing is whilst walking or drawing the bow. I wanted to try some more spot and stalk this year but need to make sure i'm set up for success first, instead of doomed from start...... lets hear your suggestions....
I like real tree types of camp, not a fan of mossy oak, some other camo is just way too bright to use year round ...

I have Scentlok Savannah for early season. Its quiet. Sometimes I'm only wearing the pants along w/ a baselayer shirt.

Cotton is good for being quiet but it absorbs perspiration so I stay away from it.

thats a main reason i was looking for something that wasn't cotton, it also absorbs the surrounding moisture!, was thinking wool?

I think wool is just as warm or warmer than fleece. I wouldn't wear wool on a 60 degree day.

I would be interested to see what else ppl suggest. I would think wool would be way to warm unless later in the season.

I just got the Gamehide Gridlock and absolutely love it! I can't think of a single thing I don't like about it. No noise, light weight, warm, windproof, and a perfect fit. The freedom sleeves sound like something that wouldn't make a ton of difference when reading the description, but after trying it out, I'll never own hunting clothing that doesn't have it again. Camo wise, I think the Lost Camo looks great in the woods. If you don't want the Mathews logo and Lost Camo on your hunting clothes, I'm pretty sure Gamehide has the same clothes as the Gridlock, but with a different name, different camo, and no Mathews Logo. I definitely recommend you give them a good look!

Cotton is the enemy, polyester is the way to go. Predator has some good early season stuff, great patterns and affordable.

have a gamehide rubline jacket, it is awesome. good quality, silent, has chest pockets and elastic on the wrist to block wind. I wear it with just a tshirt early and over a underarmor cold gear later. its on sale for 50 bucks or so right now.

X2 on the mathews gridlock by gamehide. Lost camo is the best pattern out there in my opinion and its acutally reasonably priced now. Here is where I got mine.
Mathews Lost Camo Clothing by Gamehide

its cool enough for warmer days and I just layer on colder days or throw on a bigger jacket on the coldest.
