I don't post a lot on here, just mostly read and soak up the knowledge/entertainment, but wanted to share something that has been very effective for me while using my Lone Wolf Assault and climbing sticks for mobile "run and gun" hunts on public land. As the description of the video states, I apologize for the poor angle...I'm pretty clueless when it comes to video production. If you have a few minutes, check it out. Thanks!

Good idea. I used short pieces of bicycle inner tube, slides right over.

Good video - minus the crotch shot of course.

The stuff you're using looks like a self adherent wrap which is typically used to hold bandages in place or to wrap sports injuries. You see it on pro athletes all the time and it works great for these applications. Trouble is I've never been able to find the black 3M stuff for that cheap.

I've been using a camo version of this stuff for awhile to silence different items. Right now I have some on my bow riser where my sling attaches to quiet the connection down and also provide some protection from the riser getting scuffed up. I've been using the Camo Form product which works great.

The stuff the OP is using looks like coban elastic bandage that we use in the hospital. It's made by 3M. You can buy it on Amazon and other places. Great idea!
