2 problems I chronically have 1. When my bows set up and everything feels good every four arrows, three are grouped ,one is off by 6 inches no matter what every single time why would that be? 2. Every year when I get my bow out for the first time it feels all out of whack. my contact points are different, nothing feels the same ,and I have to reset up my bow every year am I the only one that has this issue?
1. Number your arrows and see if it's the same arrow every time. If you find it's the same one every time, make sure your nick is lined up like the others. If it still persists, my favorite thing to do is take your bow to the nearest creek bed, find a good flat rock and prop it up on a creek bank. Say your good bys to the arrow. Walk about 40yards back, and set that dude free into the nice flat facing rock propped up with the creek bank behind it. It will give you no more problems after this. 2. Shoot your bow year round.
As said above, number your arrows... If you consistently shoot ONE arrow out of the group, throw it out.... Shooting year round helps, but if one specific arrow is bad, you can shoot it all you want, until it embeds itself in your hand, and never fix that problem.... If it is not a consistent arrow that flies out, then it's an archer problem, video yourself, and critique... Are you dropping your arm, pushing the bow, punching the trigger, etc... Lots of form issues can be revealed by a simple video... Technology has made many of us better archers by showing us what we were doing wrong...
If its the same arrow flying weird every time, pitch it. You'll get that in batches of arrows. With a box of easton's, I can usually get 9 out of 12 to fly great out of box and the others I might have to nock tune or just pitch it
