    Hey all,
New to bowhunting and new to the sight. I just bought a new 09 Bowtech Swat. I have a 5 pin truglo sight on it and am wondering what yardages I should sight the pins in at? I don't plan on hunting with it anytime soon. and dont see my self shooting much over 35 to 40 yards. Any other advice will be greatly appreciated : )

You can set the pins for 5 yard increments. Start at 15 to 35 or 20 to 40. if you set it this way you will have no pin gap so you won't have to adjust each pin just move your windage and elevations via the sight ring.

    I'd 20, 30, 40 & maybe 50 Just ignore the bottom pins you don't use.

Or, if you can keep it straight in your head I'd go 20, 30, 35, 40, 45.

I would probably go with 20-30-40-50 and maybe use your 5th one as an alignment pin for when your looking through your peep if your sight window is a little big. I personally like having a gap between my pins. It just helps me insure that my pin is where i want it.

You don't have to use all of them.
