Ok so I bought my mission ballistic last fall and have shot a fair amount with and have some extra scratch lying around and wanted to upgrade my sight from the tru glo it came with. My question is what is your guys recommendations for a quality 7 pin sight? Price should top out around 200. Thanks for any input and oil forward to everyone's advice.

I have the Spot Hogg Hunter 5 pin and it is very, very good.

I would take it with me to war if I had to choose one sight.

I had looked at the spot hoggs or the one that really got my attention was the IQ . My cousin has it on his bow and let me look at first hand those things are super nice. Anyways if anyone can tell me any first hand stuff with either of those that would be great. Just wanting to do the homework before I buy. And thanks great white for the input.

How many pins do you have now? I wouldn't jump into a 7 pin sight right away unless you are sure about it. I shot a 5 pin then a single pin now I'm at a adjustable 3 pin. The 5 pin was just to crowded for me so if you aren't use to all the pins you might want to look into single pin or even a adjustable sight if you want to shoot long distance.

    Spot Hogg

If you (IMHO) set up 5 pins at 20-60 you should be fine.
If you want more pins get a movable site. Consider less clutter and also less time thinking and counting pins. My set up is at 20, 30, & 40 yards with 3 pins.

I would definitely go with Spot Hogg. You couldn't pay me to use another sight!

You use 3 pins and shoot at 70 yards? May I ask how you do that? Seems amazing that you can hit the target with your 40 yard pin

Sliding sight housing. Not new technology. I have a four pin (20,30,40,50) that slides out to 100.

I checked one out at the local archery shop yesterday. It appears to be really great quality parts, and the no tools required pin movement is cool, but the thing weighed so much! IDK how this would affect your current set-up, but I mean that sucker has some masws to it. Something to consider, I am relatively new to bowhunting myself, and there may be a good way to counter that weight on your bow.
