I want to purchase a new sight for my bow. One with tool less adjustments. I am looking at the trophy ridge micro hitman 5. I also looked at the apex bone collector. I have a apex sight now and have not been very pleased with it. What are some of yalls thoughts. I like to experiment with different arrows rest and so forth so I adjust sighting a good bit. Is the trophy ridge a good sight and what about quality and durability?
Not necessarily "tool-free," but this is a GREAT sight, and this is about the best price you'll find, and it's right here on BH.com....... http://www.bowhunting.com/shopping/Products/Sword-Twilight-Htr-Rh-019-Blk__5384.aspx
I like the Truglo sight because it has the big to small pins. The top pin is a larger fiber optic and goes all the way down to the tiny micro fiber optic on the fifth pin. To me the Apex also has better adjustment screws for tightening and loosening compared to the Trophy Ridge.
I got the Hitman ma this summer and I really like it. Not tool-less like mentioned but you just barely loosen a set screw and then click adjust. Nice and bright. Nice adjustable light. All aluminum and super solid.
