when i shoot my bow i have to put the pin a hair to the left to get an accurate shot. i'm shooting the trophy ridge 3-pin sharp shooter,i dont know if your are familiar with it but its adjustable but its stiff as a board is there a trick to fixing the situation or should i just take it to the tackle shop and let them fix it?

Are you saying it's just ONE pin that seems to be that way or ALL of them. You can loosen the allens and move the sight just a bit. Towards the arrows POI to sight it in better. If you go looking for your next sight, check the pin size before you buy it. That sight has .029" pins and they are kind of large especially if you're trying to shoot 3D or Spots or something, lots of guys are shooting .019 or even the .010's and find better consistency because their aiming point is much more precise. I can't even hardly shoot a .029 sight anymore because I feel like it obstructs my vision too much past 20-25yds.

Do a quick search on Walkback tuning and try that it may help a little, some of the problem may be the REST, not the SIGHT!!!
