Well, while shooting the other day, my son says its hard to see his pins when it got late. I knew this was coming so I should of got new sights for his Razor Edge right away. What is a better pin size to get .19 or .29. and how bout a decent sight thats not hundreds of dollars... something simple and easy to use.

I'm thinking a Vital Gear sight, bright as all get out, they were great when I used them, what else is comparable??

    Maybe used??

My brother is looking to get rid of his trophy ridge micro sight, it has five .19 pins and is pretty light in low light conditions. I would have bought it from him but I'm not a fan of the vertical pins.

Get him a proslide with a .19 and he will be forever thankful at dusk and first light. Trust me, I know.

I like the .19. Check out Sword Sights. Real nice sights and a pretty good price. I like the light set up they have. No glare or haze.

I think I have five or six Spot Hogg Hunter Hogg Its, and I ordered every one of them with the top pin at .29, and the remaining three at .19...

I LOVE this setup, as i know people are going more and more to these eency weenie tiny micro pins, but I've found through MUCH trial and error that .29 is NOT too big for a 20-yard shot... a big-game animal has plenty of vitals left to see and the pin does NOT cover too much at that range -- but what it DOES do is give me all the extra light-gathering ability I need so that it's still glowing until I can't make out the outline of an animal at 20 anyway...

The .19s are awesome at 30, 40 and 50 as well.

If my eyes were 15 years younger, the only concession I MIGHT make is to make my fourth pin (my 50-yarder) a .10, but I used to shoot .10s for 3D and I just can't make 'em out like I used to, so I abandoned those altogether... sold my last Hoggit with four .10s to Rick James and re-ordered one with .29s.

Thats what I went with, I found it by chance for $45.00 brand new in a 50% off bin at Midwestern Shooter Supply. I went there to meet a guy to sell him my compound and they just happen to have this huge sale/festival going on, the first thing I pick up and look at was the Proslide! A smokin deal, I got that, new case and a Sims stabilizer for $91.00 out the door!

Any tips with setting this thing up??
