I am still pretty new to shooting bows and right now after i draw my bow i first level my bow using the bubble leveler on my sight then focus my pin in the center of my peep. I feel like looking at the leveler first sometimes leads to rushed shots for me. i was just wondering how much some of you more experienced guys look at ur levelers? ...just looking for some help. thanx!
I rarely use mine. i can just tell that my bow is level enough after shooting over and over again. Just hold your bow the same every time.
I just got my first sight with a level on it. Before that I was old school. What I do is get the pin on the target and glance down and check the bubble and then back up on target. As Dan stated though, as you get used to everything, you'll probably grow to where you rarely use it.
its wierd cus with by bow i have to make it feel like the top is off to the right to make the level say it is level
being level isn't the end of the world, being close and shooting the same angle is! i dropped my bow from about 2 feet last weekend (to concrete...), and the level popped off my sight, that was when I realized I have never used it!
I use my level every time... When you are training yourself to shoot, make it part of your shot routine. If not you can try to hold your bow in the same spot, but the level tells you, you're in the same spot.
a level improved my shooting. i use to canter my bow to the left all the time. now I use to make sure that I am holding my bow rock steady. when I do, my accuracy is spot on.
