Justin, very awesome! Afflicted, was it expensive to bring it back? Looks very nice! Where'd you get the hog?
Very nice! I love this set up! How you have them placed is great! Going to have to start a new wall with the next two!
buckeye, You must either be a bachelor or have a very understanding wife. I managed to get one into the living room but the rest are in the guest bedroom.
She is very understanding and I can put them anywhere I want. I used to keep them in the living room at our last home but these are now all in an extra 12X12 bedroom I use for my stuff. There isn't enough wall space in our living room as it's mostly all big windows.
Yeah. Everything to do with New Zealand is expensive:-/ I sent the Stuff back here and had it mounted locally. Great country though and I'd do it again in a heart beat. Very pro hunting in NZ. Hog is from my Florida lease.
Here is the last four years worth of deer. From left to right 2012, 2013, 2010 and the turkey was 2011.
Missing are another Alaskan Blacktail like the two on the far right, as well as a Caribou (still 5k miles away in Anchorage at a friends house) and a few turkey fan mounts.... But if you think my bedroom back at my parents looked bad here... below is what it now looks like for the next year until I get a place of my own (living in a different city every 6 weeks for a year). LOL I don't even want to begin to think about what I will do with all the animals if I kill what I am after this fall (Pronghorn, Mule Deer, Elk, AK Black Bear, AK Moose, and AL Whitetail)...
WiRut, you have another picture of your turkey? Looks cool! TEm, I hope you're planning on a big house! Though they all look nice!
Be sure to post your full body mount! I'm sure that'll look awesome. I'm not sure I'd have a place for a full mount! Heck, I'm struggling trying to think where to put a full hen! Everyones mounts look so good! I just keep thinking how much money it is - but it's some great pleasure seeing your "trophy" on the wall!
Here is my turkey. I got this one mounted because he was the first bird I got all by myself calling. He had some diggers on him too, 1 3/8"s with a 10 1/2" beard.
