Heck yeah well go. Have you fished it much? I havent but plan to. Always stuck to fairview but I heard spring and fal at Pack is great so will be making the trip.
Thats awesome! I want one bad. Not sure itll happen anytime soon, but its on the toy list. We have a good bit of electric only up here, thats why I put a 101 on my boat, that and the current in the river.
My party barge...DONT HATE! Sleeps 2...pretty nice to do backflips off of... And my John Boats....fishing...river rafting...whatever you need a boat for...
cmon, you smack this smallies above the riffles or what? I bum a jet every now and them and get your way on the Suzy Q
To be honest I have a lot of learning to do with these river fish. I spent most of my life fishing lakes ponds and small creeks. Its a bit different here. But, I can normally get a 12-15lb limit. Have caught a few good ones. Just havent got it down yet, but I will. Ive only been on the river up here about 8-10 times before I broke the thing lol.
Here's my 26' 1970 Lyman. It's all wood lapstrake. I am in the process of completely renovating the whole thing. It's gonna be a beauty if I can find the time to finish it this summer.
Here's my Yak, just a entry level I bought from ****s last spring. Hopefully get some use out of it this summer.
I myself haven't fished it a whole lot but I know plenty of people who have. I live less than 2 miles from the lake. I have not been able to do a lot of lake fishing. I'm sure you could teach me plenty. But I'll talk to some guys and grab a map. And hopefully they can put us on some fish. And I haven't been on Fairview in years.
Worth every penny. I can go any where I want and not worry about battery life. Obviously I can't blow around full speed, but still. Sent from my ADR6300 using Tapatalk 2
Awesome man we'll hit it for sure this year. I can always use a fishing friend...the girl can only put up with so much of it lol.
The most "open water" I've used it for is parts of the Susquehanna and Potomac. Anything bigger than that get the Cuda. Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2
Sweet thats what I thought. The Coosa is an awesome looking boat though. Im sure you have a lot of fun on that.
Here is a pic of my Ranger. Crappy pic, but the only one I have. 125 Merc handles every lake around here, and just installed a new 70# Minn Kota on the front. Hauling it nearly 20 hours this Friday night to Zapata, TX to fish Falcon Lake for 6 days!
No laughing here captain! Dont need $50,000 rigs to catch fish. Ive caught many fish out of that same set up...used to rent one all the time.
