Really want to name it after your bow huh?I really like UltraOutdoor Adventures. It's different and you'll be able to shoot a Mathews once your show takes off in a few years.

If your show is using a propietary name that is directly associated with the product, you can be liable for infringement and copy right violations. If you happen to make any money, that would be in jeopardy. If the company feels that you have in anyway damaged their market name, you would be liable. In addition, you could face severe criminal and civil penalties.

I would take a suggestion from someone else and use a non associated name.

Dream big, but dream SMART as well...

Their customer service has always been top-notch anytime I called with a question regarding a custom set-up or whatever, I can't imagine them getting on anyone's "nurves." :D As far as using their name, you'll run into issues on either side of that whether you make money or not or whether the production is good or not, make that on your own accord, and reap the benefits or face the critics that way its all your production, not swayed either way, good or bad, by sneaking Hoyt's name it to draw it up a little attention....

If you use the "CRX" in it, those of us old enough to remember the old Honda CRX are gonna laugh about that because we probably all knew a girl that drove one and maybe had an adventure with one of 'em..... or two...:D

If you want to do something like this, I think you're best to watch a few video's, figure out the type pf production you want to do, then figure out the best way to edit tape, mix in music, etc, to match what you're trying to do... Unless you're really onto something, the likelihood is that you're gonna be another mid-range you-tube semi-sensation. Nothing wrong with having dreams, but be realistic as well as optimistic with what you're doing.

    Good Luck....:tu:

I would still try to stay away from the bows name. It still represents the company and they may not like that. It is just a lot safer to use a unique name. And is the z7 still for sale? hahaha

This is very confusing. First you want to name a show after the Hoyt brand. Then you insult their cusomer service on a public forum. Ya, pretty sure you are going to want to come up with your own name that doesnt include any brand names. Also, even if you hate Mathews, you would be making a huge mistake by not snatching up a Z7 for $200 and then selling it for $600 or more. ?????? Good luck with your show.

I'll buy every 200.00 Z7 you can get me.:)

Never say never. When stuff is free, it makes a difference. Mathews makes a heck of a bow as well.

You could have easily bought it and sold it. And if you have never shot one how do you know you wouldnt have fallen in love with it?

You might want to take a look on ebay and see the going price of a Z7. The next appropriate move would be a repeated banging of your head against the wall.
