Shoulder blade hit on spike elk - help!

    If there's bubble on the blood trail it ain't a muscle shot. But it would seem that he hit the bull in the hard shoulder blade. I guess i would recomend hitting him on the tip of the lungs for a sure pass throughm

    He didn't say there were bubbles in the blood. But, you said it was a dead elk.

    Really, you would recommend hitting them in the lungs? Good to know. :bow:

    Chasing a single lung hit elk is something that nightmares are made of. And in don't think this is the case. Sounds like a shoulder hit and the elk is alive and probably more well then you'd imagine.

    No, I don't think there was ever bubbles in the blood.
