should i get new strings for my bow after its set for 2 years?

    I am buying a pse Nova off a guy that says the bow has been setting for about 2 years. should i buy new bow strings or just wax them good?

    I would new strings and cables,if you can afford it go with a really good quality company for strings like Winners choice.Have the bow gone over and properly set up.

    ok thanks for the reply, i will have new strings and cables put on it. i was just wondering if it was needed.

    I would cuz they tend to dry rot even in storage or break on the inside where you cant see.....you might even find that strings and cables arent very cheap and instead of doing that...you might find something else for the same or a little more money with good strings!
