Haha I see you like to lease cars.

Not at all. I don't have to keep up with the Jones' and I'm certainly not jealous of someone who is not very financially savvy. I COULD buy a new bow every year and a new car every year but I'd prefer to have $ in the bank and not worry about the economy and next week's paycheck.

Ask any financial expert about leasing a car and they'll tell you its stupid. :poke: But they are probably just jealous of you...

If you have the money and desire a new bow do it. If you don't have the money or shouldn't spend the money on a new bow (due to life things) then don't.

The issue is when guys feel inadequate or inferior by the bow they use....I personally find that hilarious but whatever floats your boats I guess.

I bought my bow early 2013 and plan on keeping it a min. of 2 seasons if not more. Real happy and thus no need to change on a good thing...but then again... I have a Ferrari.

Very well said and nope I do not lease cars as there is definitely no return on investment there so we agree there. I just thought the assumption that people that buy a new bow often are bad archers was in poor taste. In retrospect I should have just taken the high road and said that. But that is the beauty of living in the land of the free that we have the right to our own opinions.

I'm Jones'in to have a new bow, but I just can't find one that pulls it self, aims it self and stay's on target till the arrow finds the X ring better than the one I've got today... Tomorrows module sure ain't fix'n my crappy form and follow through. :(

Why spend money on a quick fix that's not going to fix the root cause!

Time to buy a new bow for me is when I can 't improve my accuracy any more to my satisfaction with my current bow......

If I can't pick it up and hit the kill zone on my first shot every time then it is time to work on bow accuracy' or buy a new one to play with---

I'm shooting a 2006 Bear Instinct that my dad got for me when I was 19... He got it from a pawn shop.

I'm shooting the same rest it came with.

Still shooting the 4 arrows it came with.

Shooting the same 3 pin truglo sight I put on it when I got it.

I have money in my bank account to buy a new bow but I am perfectly content with the one I have.

And guess what... I still kill deer. You don't NEED the latest and greatest everything and you don't need to "keep up with the Jones'" in order to enjoy the sport and outdoors. IMHO, if people who think that because they have the newest 2014 model of everything and think they are better than everyone because of that they don't belong in the sport.
