How often do you guys get your arrows re-fletched?

I'm an avid diy-er and am thinking about buying one of the fletch jigs so that I can fletch my own arrows. Is it worth the $?

I fletch my arrows myself with a jig, and love doing it. I like being able to personalize my arrows. However you will probably get a lot of advice to try Quickfletch by NAP. It is a lot quicker if you don't want to take the time to use glue and a jig.

What about using fletching tape? It seems easier than using glue. Is it reliable?

Is the AAE Fletch III Fletching Jig a good choice? It's the cheapest jig.

I haven't used tape, I use glue. I also use a Bitzenburger jig....can't beat it in my opinion.

Fletch tape works great with feathers. Keeps them on even when I have pulled arrows through a bag target but comes off very easily when I want it to. Feathers and feather fletch are hard to beat.

Jo-Jan fletcher is a good quality metal fletcher for those that don't want to spend a lot of money.

It costs me $18 to have my arrows refletched. I have no desire to do it myself. I refletch once a year.
