Shot the Maxxis 35 at 60 lbs DW last night. Boy I tell you that bow is smoooooooth. Very little vibration (no stabilizer) and just felt great. $895 though:eek:? Ouch.

My $429 Powerhawk will still kill deer. :)

I shot one when I bought the Alphamax and the only reason I didn't go with the Maxxis was the additional $200 on the price tag. :D

$200!! yea I would have went with the AM too, it was only a $30 difference at my shop. AM, or maxxis very sweet bow, if it was $200 I would be shooting the AM now too.

I got mine for $830, am was $799. My shop was broke into and my older bow was stolen so I was spending insurance money, it would have been hard for me to justify that and all new acsesories in one year. I shot my Havoc- tec for almost 10 years.

I believe they are $769 in my local shop, still too "rich" for my blood. Nice bow, just a little too pricey yet......

I originally set out to buy the maxxis but drove 3hrs away from nashville and bought a alphamax 32 bone colletctor edition at dealer cost due to it being a 09 bow (mattered nothing to me). Best bow I've ever shot and best three hour drive I've made in a while. In addition I couldnt tell the difference in the way the maxxis at 31 and alpha at 32 sho felt the same to me.

I just bought the Turbohawk a few weeks ago but have my eye on an Alphaburner as my next project for the Summer...I love my Turbohawk so I'll be sticking to the Hoyts for now.
I've heard the Alphaburner is a beast but has a very smooth draw.
    Anyone shoot it yet?

they are going for $789.00 here at S & S Taxidermy. Seems to be the best price I know around WNY.
