Does anyone here aim low all of the time in anticipation of the deer jumping the string?

Kinda depends on the situation. For me if the deer was 30 yards or further and I had to stop him, I would aim a bit low since the deer's senses are heightened with the noise to stop him. If the deer was feeding and did not have their senses on alert, I would probably start aiming low at the 40 yard and further range.

I've only killed 2 deer with my bow and both were 20 yards or closer so I haven't had to test my theory. This is just my thought process if/when the situation arises.

I would rather hit low than high every time, and I would rather miss low than high as well.

It really depends on a few factors. Mostly the demeanor of the deer at the time, add to it the distance ( closer isn't always better with jumpy deer) and also the location. Some deer in different localities are just plain wired up compared to other areas.

I only aim low if a deer is on alert. Also if the deer is out 30 or more yards I might also aim low.

I normally aim just above the heart area. I've never missed a deer due to string jumping.

Neither have I, but truth be known, I haven't shot past 25yrds. Thirty yards is my max.

Absolutely not. I never had a deer jump the strings on me, I generally shoot deer between 20-45 yards and would never try to compensate for what a deer may do, thats just asking to injure it IMHO.
