You gave it your best shot. Double check the arrow chart to your bow, paper tune the bow, consider going to a fb broadhead. That corkscrew on impact loses a ton of KE for penetration.

Make sure you eliminate all fletching contact before you do any paper tuning. Lipstick on rest works well. Then adjust centershot by walk back tuning or french tuning. (Do a search) adjusting the rest to 13/16 " from the riser is a good place to start. Assuming you have double checked your spine via a chart, you should be able to move to broadhead tune. Make sure your field tipped arrows and broadheads hit together at 30 yards by moving rest to bring broadheads to field points. If they won't come together, you have a spine issue. If you have the proper spine and adjusted centershot correctly, they should hit together. Now you can check paper. If you still have a tear, you are most likely torquing the grip and/or you need to adjust the yoke. DO NOT NOVE REST OFF CENTERSHOT TO GET A GOOD TEAR. Hope you get straightened out and recover the Buck. I don't think you need a new bow but do think a careful assessment of your gear top to bottom is in order. You may try FB BHs and should have at least 5 or greater GPI per pound, ..reference mfg. arrow chart.. may be a factor. Rule of thumb 70lbs X 5 GPI = 350 arrow. You let er fly! Good luck brother'
