Sorry about your luck, that's definitely not what you would ever want to happen. My wife had the same exact thing happen a couple years ago and we never did find that deer. We gave it a couple hours, but hitting a deer in the neck, especially if it turns as you shoot, can seriously alter the energy that your arrow would potentially deliver otherwise. Just do your best to try and find her and remember that she may not have necessarily died. Like others have said, you may consider switching to a fixed blade at that poundage. The thing you should probably take away from this is to pass up shots on any deer that are wired like she was. When she kept staring at you and acted extremely nervous like she was it probably isn't a good idea to take a shot at that point in time.
