Wow, I was off....I shot low most of the time shooting from elevation. Hmmmm. I am going to need a lot of practice from elevation to feel comfortable. My alignment was pretty good, but I was just missing something with my shot, even from 10 yards. 10 yards on the ground for me is pretty comfortable for me these days, yet from elevation it gave me some problems. Any tips gents?

That's why you shoot and practice from different positions. Your bending more at the waist shooting like this. Practice like you hunt Is all I can tell you. Keep practicing like this, It'll come.

Steve has it right. You already know about bending at the waist just keep at it.

I never really noticed a difference, Brett. Just being honest. Of course, I had shot a LOT more than you have, when I finally took it vertical.

You're doing ALL the right things, pal. Kudos.

I'd guess that you're not bending at the waist which results in you short drawing the bow. Try drawing back straight out and then bending after you anchor. Easier said than done but it'll give you the proper feel.

Thanks, I really enjoy shooting the recurve. I don't believe I have ever enjoyed firing a weapon as much as this bow. I am firing more shots than I ever did with the compound due to the enjoyment. I just wanted to play around and shoot from elevation today to test it out. Rising to 15 feet high was just too much for me to handle. I dropped back down and shot from about 5 feet high and plan to slowly work my way up as my shooting form/skills increase.
