There was a video around last yr that showed a couple of guys shooting geese out of a blind. That's something I'd like to try is shooting geese w/a bow. Nice Pics.

Thanks guys it was a blast. I want to go strictly bow, one of these days. I had her with me, though.

    How does my weekend sound:

    Friday night: Bear hunt
Sat morning: Goose hunt round 2
    Sat night-sun AM-Sun Night--MN bow opener :D

Awesome hunt Kyle! Our duck season opened yesterday, but I haven't gone yet. I'll probably get out a couple days next week with my dad and brother.

Deer hunting is my passion, but waterfowl is a blast as well!

That is a Fred Zink "Finisher" blind. It's made by Avery.

You can get them at cabelas, but not a cabelas brand.

Congratulations, I'm happy you can do that and it's fun for you.

I myself have zero want to do it. The only way I'd ever hunt geese is with a bow. I'd shoot right before they lit on the ground while still in the air. I have no desire to use a shotgun. I'm not condemning anyone who does, again, it may be very exciting for you.

Shooting them with a bow is tough, but it is a blast.
