I remember hitting one buck in the shoulder @ 10 yards and watched the arrow pop out right @ the spot on the ground where I hit him and saw him running off dragging one front leg behind ..... I followed him until I couldn't see him anymore and waited for over an hour if not 2 .... when I got down I saw I might have gotten 3 inches of penetration .... did not find a drop of blood the 1st 200 yards but I knew where he ran and followed the deer trail which was along a stream ... I started noticing very light blood splatter and was on my hands and knees not recognizing that he was piled up just a few feet away ... the poor shoulder shot just nicked his lung ....
Actually... my anticipation is waning. I sure hope he found it and has been too busy to check back in.
