Well I shot a doe at about 5:40 or so right behind the shoulder she mule kicked an took off like a bat outta hell right into the tree line where I was sitting. Busted a Ueee an got to cover she made it through fast an then I heard her no more. I was a lil unsure of the shot so I back out then went back an hr later an it couldn't have been a clean pass through cuz I have yet to find the arrow an I didnt have good blood until I got to the spot where she entered the woods an the crazy part is I found the the rage that went through her at the other side of the cover but no doe no arrow im clueless now because the arrows broadhead was pulled clean out the shaft insert an all. After lookin for her another 20 min I just backed out again. May be a sleepless night but I definitely want to recover her. Any thoughts?

I'd go back and restart in the morning.

Sounds like it may have been a pass through and the broadhead was sticking out rather than the fetching. Ripped insert and everything out leaving the arrow inside.

Start fresh from scratch, good luck

I'm assuming the broad head went all they way through as well. And when she ran through the thick stuff it caught on a tree or branch and ripped the insert out ... I'm pretty sure you have s dead deer ... Good luck.

    I agree dead deer.

I know walkin in circles sounds goofy, but that's how I was taught when blood was rough to track. Walk in an ever expanding circle.
