    Wonder if Mo got lost wondering the woods looking for his doe.

    water, water, water... That would be one of the first places that I would look. I can't tell you how many deer I've seen that are hit a little far back and are found dead, bedded near a close by watersource....

    Or in the water. This is the first place I look if we lose the trail of a bear. When an animal (or person) loses a lot of blood, they get thirsty and head for water. If they skip water and head up hill, chances of finding them become very very slim.
