I've got a set of arrows with these shorter nocks and I just don't care for them.
They seem like a great idea but its just feels odd nocking an arrow and not have that double grip and a little hanging past the string.
Is there something I'm not getting or is this something I should learn to get used to because its the future?

I use the easton microlite nock in my carbon express maxima blue streak an any other shaft that they will fit in mainly because I have had good luck with the nock allowing the string to rotate free once the arrow has been nock. If you wonder why this is important it's because if the string doesn't rotate freely when arrow is nocked then during the release of the arrow when the string is applying forward pressure to the nock it's also rotating an if your nock isn't free then as the string rotates your arrow will moving with the bow string thus making a less accurate shot.

I use them (qad tune-a nok), lightwetght and clamp on the string only once, somebody tell are 5 fps faster theoretically. I know for sure with my setup my arrow flies better than with other nocks.

I have used both and do not see that much difference. To be honest I am not and have not been a fan of the Easton Microlite. It clamps hard and right on all the strings I have used them on. If the arrow fits that tightly and moves the string that much going on, can you imagine how that effects the flight? I also don't like the fact that they bust really easily from arrow slap. I could care less if my nock double locks or not but, I have went back to using the Bohning double lock and they slide in the string with much less force so in my min at least, they have to release from the string better.

Thanks. Not sure about the string being able to turn just not comfortable with them.
