Ive heard that some peoples rages arent grouping together...What target are most of you using to shoot the rages in. I only have one practice head and dont want to shoot my hunting heads into my shot blocker target in fear Im going to damage my new rage blades. I do have a bag target but im afraid ill blow right through it with the rages....what targets are you shooting your mechanicals into???

Thanks G...I didnt intend on shooting the heads into my ShotBlocker, was just curious what others are doing. The good thing is I dont need to order the practice heads, I can pick them up at Bullseye Sportshop in Marhfield for a few bucks a piece.

I shot a couple old/used Rages into my Morrel Yellow Jacket block target and they hit exactly with my field tips and the practice Rage heads. I didnt notice any difference between the practice head and the real head.
Saying that I still dont think I could go in the woods without atleast testing the real head to make sure it is hitting exactly with the practice head!!

Ohh and by the way....I love the way the practice heads pull out and save the targets!!

I was having problems getting my Rage 2-blades to group consistently this year. Sometimes they were hitting dead on and other times they were 6in left or right and 4in low; at only 20 yards. So I called my local shop and learned that Rage 2 blades are very accurate broadheads; as long as you're shooting under 300 fps with your actual hunting setup. This is why they shot great out of my Drenalin (265 fps) the last 2+ years, and won't pattern worth 2 cents out of my Monster (340 fps). I switched to The Reign broadheads, and seem to have the problem solved. I really liked the big wound channels from the Rage, but that doesn't do me much good if I'm not accurate! Anybody else out there heard anything on this? Just like to get some feedback...

I have never heard that, and I know a few guys shooting them out of 82nd's, omens and etc...they are way past the 300fps mark with no issues. I am right at 300 and I have not had any either.

Im not sure why you can't shoot those Rage with a fast bow...why did they tell you this? GMMAT shot em fine and I believe he was over 300 fps mark by a long shot...
