I have a Bowtech Assassin 68# shooting Carbon Express mayhem 350s cut at 28 inches. At 20 yards they are shooting left and at 50 yards they are shooting right. Any ideas on what might be causing this?

    Three things.

    1. Your canting your bow(tilting)

    2. Your torquing

    3. Your sights 3rd axis is off.

Can you explain the 3rd axis?

Other things that may be wrong are that you have rest contact with the fletching causing your arrows to fish-tail or your bow is completely out of tune.

If it is consistently off like what you described, it is most likely a tuning issue of some sort.

Could be a form issue also.

I may be wrong but wouldn't a 3rd axis being off only show up if shooting uphill or down hill?

My first guess would be canting of the bow.
Do you have a level in your sight?

Third axis would reveal itself on uphill/downhill shots assuming you were on the money when shooting level ground.

how far left at 20 and how far right at 50? Are you peeking at 50 to watch the arrow hit?
If not, I would agree with the guys above that you are canting. Does your sight have a level?

Thanks for the responses. I finally got fed up and went to the bowshop. The bow tech said everything looked perfect so I shot through paper and it was bullet holes. He did talk me into retiring the biscuit and getting a ripcord and also refletched a couple of arrows with longer fletching and helical. We did find that one of my arrows wasn't straight and another had a busted collar. Going to start all over tomorrow with the new rest and fletching.
