I have started my own photography company and I have been out and about. Really could have not done it without @Sota help!!!

I do sports and wildlife and I have sold a few photos, must is just for my enjoyment and being outside. I plan on taking my camera in the woods with me this fall with the bow, I'll have the camera in my hand more than the bow.

    I have a few goals:

    Photo of 170+ Buck
Photo Eagle perched and in flight.

Those are my two main goals for 2025, below was this weekend and I had a blast, I actually sprinted to get the hawk as I saw it flying through the woods.

Next purchase is the RF-100-500mm 4.5-7.1 lens. I bought the 100-400mm 5.6-8 to start out and practice with as it's under 1000.00 and takes pretty good photos. See the ones I got this weekend.

Good luck. My wife has had her own photography business for 20 years and I can tell you it can get expensive. But she really has enjoyed it and made pretty good money with it. She specializes in weddings, senior photos, and family photos. She's also employed by some of the local schools to do proms and graduations. She says weddings are the worst and is very picky about the ones she will do.

Semi-pro photographer here. Would starve before I would do a wedding. Been in a few and conducted a few. You get six people involved and get eight opinions. Wildlife photography is best as the critters don't complain, don't tell you how to do it, don't ask for extra photos for the living room, etc. Funny: Several years ago, before I got into photography as a semi-hobby, I was getting ready to take a photo when this lady stepped up. "I know these things." Her accent was from the NYC area; evidently wasn't aware of the word, "photography." I ignored her. Now I would ask her- what lens aperture, ISO, lens speed, would you use?

Got it. I have a cannon, but I need an upgrade. I am looking at Sony's or Panasonic. I am interested in a dual-purpose mirrorless.

I love taking rare unique photos, but that one will never exist again.
