Where should I aim on a deer if I am 20ft up in a tree and a deer is less than 10yrds. With the steep angle I am scared that I may only hit 1 lung.

I would say aim like normal @ 20 yards, but this is coming from someone who only hunts about 15 ft up. All 6 deer I have killed with a bow were 20 yards and closer I didn't change my placement. Someone that hunts from that height may have a different opinion though.

I always try to aim for the lower 1/3rd (heart shot), from my experience you'll hit high with the angle and it also helps compensate for ducking of the arrow

at 10yds you should blast right through the deer especially with a mechanical like a rage. that's close so try for the quartering away shot and aim slightly higher than farther out distance. if your bow is sighted at 20yds for your first pin aim with that pin you wont notice any difference. good luck
