i have been shooting nearly everyday since about March. but recently i started shooting from my tree stand 16 ft up and have been nailing the target each time. but yesterday i shot from level ground and missed my target bad. is there a possibility that i got too used to shooting high up and that had something to do with why i was off?
Could be. Thats why I practice from both. I seem to do better from the elevated stand but, as long as I practice both alternating, I do fine both ways. Closer to the season, I will start practicing more on the elevated side due to thats how I hunt most.
Possibly, but as long as your sight is tuned in, and your form is the same, it shouldn't be a big difference like your suggesting.
Hear in Australia it's all spot & stalk bahaha so not sure about treestands. however I have heard that if you sight youre bow in on the ground at say 30 yard then shoot to 30 yard from a stand the arrow will hit high.. not sure how much to high though
