That looks like a very mature buck and a definite shooter. You have to ask yourself some serious questions here, number one is if you take him, will you be second guessing yourself everytime you see his mount. The other question should be, will someone else put a tag on him this year or will he even be back for next year? Those are some serious questions in my opinion.

The deer looks to be on his 3rd or 4th season and considering he can develope more mass over the next 3 seasons depending on how his teeth hold up your buddy has a point! I'm surprised the deer made it as long as he has. Anyway, the previous post to mine has mentioned 2 very important questions to consider. I hunt a bit different than most at this point of my life, but I havnt always and with that said I would have taken the life from that deer at first sight!

Dawg, is that the trophy cam, which model? Good quality video, and I really like the fact that they don't notice the light at all.
Oh, and I would shoot the hell out of him:tu:

That camera is the new Bushnell Trophy Cam Black Flash 467C. The videos have audio and can not wait to catch some action with some great video. I have one video that a doe is sniffing my cam and you can hear it. I am ready for rut season with the buck chasing and grunting. A good fight would be nice too. I like the video so much I have yet to try the pictures on it.

I honestly would never see a deer like that in my life unless I move but that is an amazing buck! I'd say take it and mount that baby! What kind of camera do you have.. I think mine has video... Makes me want to use that mode instead of pics!
