It's your choice man. Next year he could really explode into something big but don't hold back on a buck just because you think he's not big enough to someone else. If I didn't have any other bucks bigger than him on my property I'd take him for sure! I like the brow tines. Nice buck!

Kind of a bird in the hand deal sometimes you get a chance then other time the guy across the fence gets his.. But good luck with him.

What a great buck. For me right now that would be a shooter but if you know of other bucks that are bigger that you can get I would give it another year.

That is a GREAT young buck. That is a choice that only you can make. If he gets another year under his belt he could really blow up. He is just about finished growing.

You think so?? He looks young to me, maybe 4? I don't know? I think he has a lot of potential if he survives another 3 years, but that would be hard for everyone except Todd. lol

Only you can decide whether he's a shooter. Nice buck for sure.

I shot one extremely similar to that about 5 years ago. Everytime I look at the euro mount I just think "what if I'd waiting one more year?"

Its hard to do around here because you dont always have a large tract to hunt so you know youre not the only one that could see the buck. Once shotgun season comes in, we have too many that shoot the first thing with antlers that walks by.

Yep, he appears to finished growing. The trophy is in the eye of the beholder so it is totally up to you. I personally would give him another year but I would be stoked for you man if you put a tag on him.....

    3 at the max.

Whether or not to loose an arrow on a particular deer is a personal decision and its totally up to you. Unless you have an agreement with others you hunt with, do what you please and not worry what anyone else says.

Yes I do think that deer has alot of potential and could blow up into a monster. I personally would not shoot him but dont care if some one else does(unless they are on my lease) I dont think he needs 3 more years to be a giant but if he got 3 years he would be an absolute stud.

I think Tom (MonsterRaxx) meant that he is done growing this year, not that he will NOT grow a larger rack in future years.

I think Dan is correct about his age,3 years. I'm anxious to check 1 of my trailcams tomarrow,If I have pics of a more mature deer thats in the same area, I will post them.Lucky for this buck he stands a good chance of surviving,do to the fact he lives on a 7 thousand acre recreation area that is ARCHERY hunting only.

After watching the video a couple more times, I wouldn't be surprised if he was 2 years old. Small body. He could be an absolute freak someday.

Great young buck. If you are the only one hunting the land, you can wait and see what he will become.
